I have transacted in my local currency, but I have been charged by my bank in USD. Why so?
All foreign/Non-INR transactions on Ketto are only processed in USD (US dollars). Therefore, irrespective to which country you are in, outside India, your bank will convert the local currency into USD and process your transaction.
For any additional banking charges, please contact your local bank as that is a process outside our control.
Under what name will the amount show in my bank account?
INR funds that you receive in your account will come under the name 'PASFAR' and/or Ketto USD funds that you receive in your account will come under the name 'Ketto'
Does the donation reach the individual directly?
With Ketto, the money you collect goes directly to the bank account associated with your fundraising page.
