What is Ketto's foreign funds transfer policy?

Ketto has revised its foreign fund's transfer policy.
1. For individuals raising funds for medical treatment:
If you are an individual and raising funds for medical treatment, you can now accept foreign funds from Indian’s staying abroad and from foreign nationals. The foreign funds raised can only be transferred to - Treating hospital, Clinic, Diagnostic Centre, or any healthcare provider in India.
2. For NGOs or individuals raising funds for an NGO: Funds can only be transferred to the NGO if the NGO has an FCRA account or is a 501(c)(3) charity in the United States.
3. For individuals raising funds for a memorial / for the family of a deceased person: Funds will be transferred to the immediate family member's account. 
4. For individuals raising funds for other causes: The foreign funds can be transferred only to a service provider’s account. For example, a material supplier, an Indian educational institution, etc.
The above guidelines are applicable for all fundraisers started on Ketto. If you wish not to accept the foreign funds, please reach out to the support team at help@ketto.org.
